XV INNOMEET – From Ecosystems to Impact
The XV Innomeet brings together international perspectives, institutional innovation tools, and student initiatives on a shared platform, showcasing how ideas evolve into tangible impact.
The opening keynote, “Small Country, Strong Collaboration: Lessons from the Finnish Startup Ecosystem”, offers insights into Finland’s innovation ecosystem. The talk will be delivered by Mirza Sagdati, Head of Startup Development at Demola Global and founder of Red Brick Accelerator, highlighting how a smaller country can build a globally competitive innovation environment through strong collaboration between universities, startups, and industry.
Following this, Zoltán Kátay, technology transfer expert at Initium Ltd., will present the “Medtech Challenge: the Proof of Concept Opportunity of OE” program and funding opportunity, aimed at supporting the market validation of research results through structured support and financing.
The event will conclude with the presentation of O.I.L. (Obuda Innovation Lab), an innovation workshop run by students of the Donát Bánki Faculty of Mechanical and Safety Engineering (BGK). Gabriel Creamer and Gorjan Angjushev will provide insight into how hands-on experimentation and interdisciplinary collaboration drive the next generation of innovators.
The XV Innomeet offers a comprehensive overview of how international models, institutional support mechanisms, and student creativity come together to create innovation impact.
