Incubation
Incubation takes promising projects to the next level and helps teams validate technologies, build prototypes, and test real-world applications. Teams work closely with mentors, domain experts, and corporate partners to validate their technologies and business models. The focus is on developing prototypes, testing solutions in real-world environments, and gathering feedback from users and stakeholders. With access to labs, facilities, and professional support, incubation ensures that ideas are not just visionary, but viable and ready to enter the market.
Incubation – From Idea to Market
The goal of incubation is to turn early-stage innovation ideas, research results, and student projects into real, marketable solutions. As part of Obuda University’s innovation ecosystem, the Innovation Office also provides incubation services, mainly in the form of project development, networking, business modelling, and mentorship.
The office supports promising initiatives from idea validation through development and up to market preparation. It can also assist with physical workspace and working environment, currently with limited, but soon expanding capacity. The professional hub of incubation activities is Initium Venture Labs, Obuda University’s official incubator, which supports the growth of startup and innovation projects through structured programs and a dedicated mentor network.
