Demola Budapest
Co-creation for real impact
Demola Budapest is an open innovation and co-creation platform connecting university students with companies and organizations to solve real-life challenges. It provides an inspiring environment where ideas meet practice — and where students, mentors, and industry professionals work side by side to shape future solutions.
Through the Demola experience, students develop creative problem-solving, teamwork, and design thinking skills, while partners gain fresh perspectives, innovative concepts, and access to emerging talent.
How it works
- Real challenges: Companies and organizations submit innovation topics or strategic problems.
- Multidisciplinary teams: Students from different universities and study fields form teams to co-create new ideas.
- Facilitated process: Demola provides mentoring, workshops, and a proven co-creation framework.
- Results: Teams deliver validated concepts, prototypes, or new service models that inspire real innovation within partner organizations.
- Fair trade IPR model: Teams own results of their own project to enable startup development. Core partners get global non-exclusive license to the results.
