A few prompts to help you figure out what to say:
I have an idea: “I’m exploring an area and want to find out if it’s interesting to anyone else.”
I’m looking for someone: a co-founder, developer, designer, researcher, businessperson, mentor, advisor, or tester.
I need help: “I’m stuck on a technical / business / research problem. Is there anyone here who knows this space?”
I can help: “I have expertise, equipment, data, industry contacts, or experience that could be useful to others.”
I’m looking for a pilot project: access to users, companies, labs, test environments, or research partners.
I learned something: a short lesson about what worked, what failed, what surprised you, or what changed your view on innovation.
I have a problem worth solving: I don’t necessarily have a solution yet. Researchers and staff are especially welcome here.
I found something interesting: a technology, research result, or emerging problem that others at the university should know about.
I have an opportunity: a competition, grant, hackathon, research collaboration, internship, accelerator, challenge, or industry opportunity.
I have a slightly crazy idea: something speculative that I’d like the audience to react to.
