Want to understand how an idea becomes a real startup?
Óbuda University, with the support of OUVC, is launching its first Entrepreneurship Academy program:
a hands-on training for those who don’t just want to hear about startups, but truly understand how they work.
The program is led by Martin Olczyk, a four-time founder and investor in over 100 startups, who previously led the Techstars Torino accelerator for 6 years.
Over the past years, Martin has helped more than 80 teams raise nearly €250 million in funding.
The program will be held in English and consists of 10 weeks in total:
- 5 weeks starting May 21, 2026
- 5 weeks in autumn 2026
During the program, participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of:
- how founders think
- how to turn an idea into a business
- how to talk to users effectively
- how to identify real problems
- and how to build something people actually need
At the end of the program, selected participants will join a professional trip to Turin, where they will collaborate with international teams and attend major innovation events such as Italian Tech Week.
The training will take place at Óbuda University, starting May 22.
Participation and costs:
- For students, researchers, and staff of Óbuda University: free of charge, including the Turin trip (active participation required)
- For external applicants: participation fees may apply
