Universities Meeting: HSUP Matchmaking at Óbuda University

On January 29, 2026, Óbuda University hosted the HSUP Matchmaking event, held in the spirit of inter-university collaboration and student team building.

The program was led by David Trayford, Communications Expert at Óbuda University’s Innovation Office. Its aim was to give students insight into the processes of startups and team building, as well as to help them find suitable teammates for the startup projects launching in the next semester.

All four project leaders from Óbuda University participated in the event, each selecting two team members to join them. The chosen students will work together over the next semester to bring their ideas to life, including validating concepts, acquiring customers, and pitching to investors. We wish every team great success!

It was especially exciting to see students from Corvinus University and Semmelweis University join as well, turning the program into a true multi-university collaboration.

The unique feature of HSUP is that a single team can include students from up to three different universities, strengthening inter-university connections and fostering a shared spirit of innovation.
