We are delighted to invite you to the 12th event of the INNOMEET series, organized by the University Research and Innovation Center (EKIK), taking place on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at 6:00 PM.

The Path of Innovation at Óbuda University

If you are interested in innovation, the startup world, turning university ideas into reality, or simply curious about how an idea becomes a functioning project or spin-off company, this event is for you!

Program:
6:00–6:05 PM – Welcome
Dr. Zrubka Zsombor, Director of EKIK

6:05–7:00 PM – ÓE MVP Competition Pitch
5 teams will present their innovative ideas

7:00–7:15 PM – The Story of an EKIK Patent
Pósfai Gergely (R&D Staff) and Bacsa László (Head of Innovation Office)

7:15–7:30 PM – BirdWatcher: The Story of a University Spin-off
Árendás Csaba (Initium Zrt.) and Dr. Alexy Márta (Founder, University Lecturer, NIK)

7:30–7:45 PM – Introduction of OUTFINO Europe Ltd.
Várhelyi Veszna (Investment Director, OUVC) and Nyírő Marcell (Founder, ÓE Student)

7:45–8:00 PM – MVP Competition Results Announcement

8:00–9:00 PM – Networking and Informal Discussions

After the presentations, there will be an opportunity to network and have informal discussions with the speakers and other participants.
